This Lemon Poppyseed Vinaigrette packs a balance of tart and sweet flavours that will liven up any salad you serve it on. Great on green salads, fennel salads, chicken salads and so much more!

Ingredients

  • cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 clove garlic minced (optional)
  • Sea salt and cracked black pepper

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a sealed glass container (glass jars are perfect) and season.
  • Shake well to combine and emulsify. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking.
  • Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container (preferably glass) for up to 5 days.

Notes

*This recipe makes ⅔ cup of dressing (approximately 10 tablespoons) which is enough dressing for a salad that serves four people. The nutritional information has been calculated per tablespoon.
