Cajun Spice

Cajun flavour is spicy and rich this blend can be used as a spice rub, mixed with Greek yoghurt as a dipping sauce or sprinkled on roast vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsps paprika
  • 2 tbsps fried dry shallots or onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon garlic granules or powder

Instructions

  • Place all the spices, garlic powder and onion flakes in a bowl and stir until well combined.
  • Store in an air-tight container until ready to use.
